Cassandra is a guest lecturer at James Cook University in the subjects of Hand Therapy, Orthotics/Splinting and Upper Limb Anatomy. She is also involved in the training of General Practitioners and other allied health professionals on hand and wrist injuries. In recent years Cassandra has been an elected committee member on the national board of the Australian Hand Therapy Association.
